PRESS RELEASE – Employees of the Land Registry are expected to return to a much improved working environment on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, after a brief suspension of operations to facilitate maintenance and remediation works at the offices.
The public is therefore asked to note that the Land Registry will not reopen on the previously stated date of September 14, 2016. The new opening date is September 21, 2016.
H&L Environmental Services has reported that they had underestimated the time required to clean the vault and the documents stored within.
The works being undertaken are expected to significantly curb the threat of mould infestation at the Land Registry, located on the on the ground floor of the Greaham Louisy Building.
The works are being executed on the basis that the new opening date is September, 21, 2016.
